bleeding gums

OK, so I might be the only one on here experiencing this, but as I've progressed in my pregnancy I've noticed my gums have been bleeding pretty bad. Its usually when I'm eating and chewing like apples or when I'm brushing my teeth. The weird part is I floss and brush my teeth all the time. I don't leave my house without it and I have a stadh of floss at work, so I don't think it has to do with not flossing. Any advice?

Thanks ladies! With all these changes I figured it had to be normal. I'm a ftm so this is all an experience I've been taking in. I'm due Dec 26th and I couldn't be more ready. I am ready for everything to go back to normal :)

Normal in pregnancy. But if you are worried ask your doctor. Also. Have you been to the dentist already? Maybe make an appt there too. But from my experience its normal.

hi, I am so sorry to hear that, but when I was pregnant with my children I experienced the same thing, and no matter what I did they would always bleed. they stayed like that till I gave birth to my kids. I asked my doctor and she said that it is because the veins in body gets bigger when I am pregnant, so this causes them to bleed more easily.. and not only that my teeth became sensitive as well..

I had them earlier in my pregnancy. Its because your body has alot more blood running through it now, and the gums is a common place to have extra bleeding. Also the nose as well. I've had a bunch of random nosebleeds too.
