Testing after m/c

Has anyone gone through any testing after m/c? I'm just wondering what to expect and how long it takes to get results back. I'm making a appt. with a specialist to see why I'm not able to hold any pregnancy's. I've had 3 m/c and need some answers. Thanks

Wow! Thank you girls for the info! I didn't realize it would take that long to get results back. My Dr. reffered me to a specialist and I'm not sure what they will do but I guess I'll have to wait and find out. I really would like to get this figured out before we try again. I'm not sure I can go throught another mc/ again! Anyway I appreciate all your help with my question.

i have been going through the testing phase for about 2 months now...most of the blood takes 2-4 weeks to get the results back so its take some time

i finally just was diagnosed with factor 5 leiden about 2 weeks ago and went to my specialist (hematoligst) who again did more bloodwork that will take 4 weeks to get the results back for

im sorry to say but for me i demanded every test they can think of be done and for that it has taking about 2 months (my mc was 3/3/08)

my best advise is to be patient and wait the tests out...it seems like forever but it was worth it in my eyes...at least we know now

sadly my doc said no to TTC for at least another 2-3 months until he gets the newest results back and gets me in to see a high risk OB

yes after my second MC my Dr did the blood work for multiple mc/s and what it consisted of was they took about 8-10 viles of blood and sent if off for testing.....that was it.....it took almost 2 months to get the results back but they did find out I had a blood clotting problem and needed to take asprin when I got prego again....well I'm now 25.3 weeks pregnant with a healthy baby girl and baby boy.
