Do they ultrasound you or measure and tell you before delivery?

I have no had an ultrasound or known what my baby measures at since about 19 weeks when I found out the gender. I'm now 34+5 and I feel like its important to know what she measures... Do your ladies doctors do any of that stuff?

Im 34+ weeks and have only had two- my first one and the anatomy scan. I asked my doctor if I would have any more u/s and he said not unless they find any issues that cause alarm. I hope they can give me atleast one more by the end of it.

They may do another ultrasound as you get closer to your due date or they may not just to check the position of the baby. I think it depends on if you have been having any complications. Ask your doctor about it, that's what he/she is there for! :)

What Is what? Marginal Cord Insertion? Instead of the cord bein' attached to the middle of the placenta, It's attached to the side of It which can make It harder for the baby to receive all the nutrients It needs. So the result of It may be a low birth weight. But happily, my baby boy Is a fatty and Is 7 Lbs. 6 Oz at my 36 week u/s appt. (give or take a half pound as to what my u/s tech said, as she did the measurements 3 times and got the same thing, but It could be wrong). Doctors told me If It wasn't for the MCI, he would be a 12 pound baby, haha.
But yes, what JJBaker has said, the weight Isn't exactly accurate, It can be off by a half of pound to a pound by either more or less than what the doctors estimate.

Weight measurements can be off by two pounds so it really isn't important to know

I've had about 4 now only because I have Marginal Cord Insertion. According to my doctor(s), If It wasn't for that, I would've only had 1 and that would've been the anatomy scan. Other than that, If you have a problem or they can't find your baby's heartbeat, they would order an u/s.

I doubt it unless there's a problem like ur measuring to big or to small or if u have diabites it would make sense that should but most don't
