I do mean breast and not jokes. Not sure how swype came up with that.
I'm 28 weeks. I just want to make sure that I can breast feed. I know that women can get a type of yeast in their nipples which can cause the baby to have thrush. I wonder if my doc can swab my nipple and check the right one to make sure its not something weird.
@ Natturalista, how far along are you? I started to produce colostrum at 22 weeks and it was only one. Now they both do, sometimes it's just clear and other times it's yellowish.
I started to think my jokes had some kind of infection because of how bad tube pain was and one of my breast is already making colostrum. The other one had a white substance that had always been there off and on since I was a little girl. The itching and burning drives me insane. I guess that's normal since everybody else is experiencing pain but now I'm worried about being able to breast feed.
I think that it shocked me more because I never had any soreness, not even at the beginning of the pregnancy. I thought that I had bypassed it all so when it hit, it hit me hard! That's okay though, I am almost at the end and it will all be worth it :) Good luck.
Oh gosh! That sounds horrible!!! Mine is still going on just not as bad! I feel like such a little baby compared to you!!
I had that happen at 23 weeks. My nipples felt like they were on fire. I asked the dr about it and she said that she had never heard about it. After a few days, it stopped and the pain then spread to my breasts. They would feel hot and full and sore. I am now 34 weeks tomorrow and still have pain in them on and off. I was told that it was normal and would continue until I gave birth :(
Mine ache and itch constantly at 31+ weeks. I'd say normal but you should mention it to the Dr/midwife as I've heard you can have glands that are clogged and those are even more painful.
