brown discharge after period

HI,

I had my periods for 4 days which is fairly normal for my cycle. But now after two days i am having on and off brown discharge. It is now increasing to almost continuous brown discharge. I did not check for pregnancy before this one but a lot of skin or whatever came out during the bleeding. Is it normal or did i just have a miscarriage?

Yes it was definitely a lot later than normal, and did pass a large clot which i especially noticed because of its abnormal size and colour. and it was very painful till the clot passed. but this thing happened thrice after marriage almost two months apart each time. I am a lot stressed due to various changes in my life, so can it be due to the stress that i am miscarrying. i think the amount of unprotected sex we had anybody would have been pregnant by now. but soemhow i am missing it. So i am wondering am i missing it or is it miscarriage.

well brown discharge is old blood, so maybe your period is tapering off, usually when your pregnant and you miscarry especially around when your period is due its usually like your normal period, was your  period late at all ? If you were pregnant, say around 6wks you would def know if you were miscarrying as you would pass a reasonable size "clot"
