brown like period but not a period

on the 13th i had pinkish spotting only when i wiped then the next day i had brown like discharge for 3 days my period  starts on the 18th it never came i was just wondering if anyone had experianced this brown like discharge and ended up pregnant

I've never heard of a better or worse time of day to test....   maybe try a different brand?  or try testing again in a couple days?

I WAS WONDERING WHEN THE BEST TIME TO DO A HPT BECAUSE I USED THE DOLLAR TREE ONES AND THEY DONT SEEM TO BE WORKING FOR ME AT THE MOMENT, I TOOK ONE 15MINS AGO AND NOT EVEN A FAINT LINE I KNOW I AM PREGO I JUST KNOW IT I FEEL IT, ANY HELP WOULD BE MUCH APPRECIATED THANK YOU

i did!!! that was one of my first clues..i had light pink/brown discharge 2 weeks before my period was due...then no period..then a + HPT!! :) are you trying to have a baby?? if so hopefully it was implantation bleeding!!
