c section tomorrow

I didn't sleep at all last night because I'm so nervous. Anyone on here had a planned c section? If so I'd love to hear your labor stories just to try and calm myself down some!

My first one was an emergency c section my second one was a planned one. It was easy. I had to be at the hospital by 6. They hooked me up to monitors. I had to drink this stuff to help with nausea but it had the opposite effect on me. A lot of paperwork to fill out. 2 hours later my daughter was born. Its not as bad as everyone thinks. Good luck!!!

Mine wasn't planned, but it was still very calm. They told me everything that was going on, and before they start they give you your spinal and "pinch" you and ask of you feel it. Then they begin. It took maybe 5 minutes and he was out. It's a weird feeling like they are popping a zit on your belly and when they baby is pulled out its like they are pulling your intestines out (not in a painful way just like you are being emptied) it's hard to explain. Then the next thing you hear is the baby's crying at end that's all your mind is on. You don't even care about anything else. Then they stich you up and take you to your recovery room where you get to bond with the baby and breastfeed if you choose. It's scary to think about, but all in all it isn't too bad. I felt normal the day after, obviously besides small pains, and refused my meds. Be sure to always stand up stright and walk with good posture. It helps a ton. It will hurt at first and you need to go slow but always stand stright
