camping!

My Husband, And A Group Of Our Friends Are Going Primitive Camping In The Badlands Of South Dakota This Weekend! I Am Really Excited And Have Never Camped In A Tent Before (Always An RV With Family.) We Made Sure To Pick Up An Air Mattress For My Back, And By This Weekend I Will Be 15 Weeks!

Any Advice From Women On Here Who Have Camped In A Tent Before Pregnant!?

Good recommendations above! I would add, don't forget snacks for yourself! I know every time I travel somewhere I forget to be prepared for being hungry all the time if I'm not in charge of the food.

Don't forget to prepare for the amount of water you should be drinking each day. If there is potable water available that's great, if not be sure to treat your water thoroughly before drinking! Giardia (and other common waterborne bugs) is awful anytime but especially dangerous when you're pregnant. The air mattress will definitely help. Bring some extra layers, body temperature can go all weird on you when you're not expecting it due to hormones. Have fun!
