Are u talking about a stitch keeping the cervix closed ?? Or after delivery stitches ??
I had lots of stitches in my cervix after birth of child #1. I never knew the stitches were there, and they dissolved on their own. It didn't hurt to have the surgery because they used general anesthesia. I don't know how you'd know that a stitch came out... Remember that some postpartum bleeding is normal.
