I understand. My husband and I got the house we live in now because it was a good solid house available when we needed to move, not because we loved it. It has its good things but there are other things I'd have preferred. So we moved . . . with the intention to move again down the road. Well, the road is long. Here we still our. And our kids LOVE the house. Of course, it is all they've ever known. We decided last year that we aren't probably going to move so we need to just make the best of this place. So, we started doing things to 'make' it our dream house (that may take my entire life time, lol). It isn't exactly the part of town we would like to live in--- it's quite the suburbs and you have a long drive to get to the city---- but, once my older kids got established in things like school and sports, you make a little community that can be nice.
But it's hard. My advice is that if this isn't where you want to be, move again sooner rather than later. OR, make the place a place you love over the years by doing things to it. :>) good luck sweetie
Yea I want the nursery sorted too lol .
I feel sooo unorganised but I'm early pregnancy so I shouldn't be really.
Aghh... I think a tea and a break is needed.
Hopefully everything works soon ... maybe I'm just very hormonal . I've disinfected my house lol
I moved closer to family so settling seemed pretty easy. I still feel unorganized as far as the nursery goes though. I think thats just first time pregnancy worries for me though. Maybe after you have your baby girl you will feel everything fall into place?(:
