3 trimester sex is no longer my friend

So i have been avoiding sex with my husband because its so uncomfortable well last night after 4weeks i decided to give it a go well first off it seemed like something was blocking him from going all the way in and when we finally got it over and done with i started having major serious contractions that had me bent over on my knees after 30 min they finally went away i felt so horrible because the look of fear on my husband face has this happened to anyone else?

I asked my Dr about sex earlier today im 37 weeks she said that sperm aids in thinning out the cervix and triggers contractions also having an orgasm trigger contractions as well

Sometimes I get that feeling even not being pregnany. I think it has to do with the angle and size of him along with the opening of you. For instance it's s small hole and if bot lubricated well it feels like it a being blocked for me personally any way.

I havent started having contractions yet (at least not that I have noticed) but the "blocking" situation happens every time I start to have sex with my husband. Idk why it happens either
