child birth is really amazing.. you will be so excited by the time you get ot the end of your pregnancy.. I just kept telling myself there was no need to be afraid millions of people go through it all the time and have been for all time.. the pain does literally vanish when the baby comes.. and if you get an epidural you wont feel much. I did mine naturally until I was 8 cm then i got an epidural and could feel the pressure while i pushed but notthe pain..
Either way, you will make it through just remind yourself, most people get through without issue
Let me say now I'm sorry I laughed when I read this. Only bc I went through all natural childbirth bc I didn't want anyone coming near me with a big *** needle by my spine lol. I can't tell u how scared that thought made me. I would rather go through the pain of natural birth than someone possibly screwing up my ability to walk or pee by myself. & honestly the very worst part of labor is when baby is coming & is crowning. It's what they call the burning ring of fire. & that's what it feels like. It doesn't last long. AS soon as that baby is born all pain gone. It just vanishes. It's a beautiful thing
My friend went through her whole pregnancy like this...begged her docs for a section...she had her baby all natural...no epidural or any thing. she now has 2 girls but the second one turned out to be section and she says she way preferred natural......now this same girl does not do pain...u could hear her screaming getting her eyebrows waxed...they never end up the same cos she won't let her beautitian finish proper :-)
I too said I didn't want children because of the pain but after me and my husband married in October, all I could think about was producing a child for us. Someone who would depend on us and bring us joy. I'm 13w2d now and I am terrified at the thought of childbirth but I don't let that fear consume me. If I carry this baby for 9+ months, surely 1 day or less of labor won't kill me. I'm just excited to see my baby in December!
