My Dr said I can continue my one cup a day and be fine. But no more and not a lot of caffeene
think about it. You are carrying a child and once that child comes out you can't reverse what you've done to your body while it was in you. if you don't need it don't do it it's simple as that be responsible.
I'm a big coffee drinker, so I specifically asked my doctor if it's okay, she said it was fine as long as it's in moderation.
This is my second pregnancy and i have been drinking an average of 2 cups of coffee (regular) a day. There were days when i'd have more, days where i could stonach more than half a cup.
I'm Canadian and the guideline here is to limit caffein intake to 300 mg a day. Personnally, i'd drink 10 coffes in a day before opening a single can of soda. Nobody talks about how gross soda is for your health but people worry abouta little caffein!!
I'm 21 weeks, and never stopped drinking coffee. I have a large coffee every morning, and usually a small cappuccino or soda in the afternoon. The dr told me it's not a problem, and probably the reason he could find the heartbeat by Doppler at 8 weeks
My dr told me coffee was just fine it helps with constipation fetal movement and heartrate
Moderation .I'm not a big soda or coffee drinker.
Hi!
If you were my patient, I would tell you that that is probably not an excessive amount of caffiene. The best research I can find suggests that 400mg per day or less is OK during pregnancy and NOT related to a higher miscarriage rate.
Hope this helps!
Dr B
I wouldn't consume any more than 200mg of caffeine
