Hot fluids, lots of citrus - especially lemon. Lemon and ginger tea is perfect, as the spice of the ginger mixed with the heat clears your nasal passages. AVOID COLD LIQUIDS AND COLD FOODS. They may feel extremely fabulous on your throat, but they are actually a big contributor to making you stay sick, as it helps the bacteria multiply. Drink and eat fluids as hot as you can stand. If you sweat, good - helps clear out the bacterias as well.
