I was 18 when I got pregnant. (Mine was planned though) and I'm now 19 and my little guy will be a month old on Tuesday! You're not to young age is just a number. My boyfriend and I live with my parents. My boyfriend supports us pays rents for himself and helps with food  and other stuff. But let me tell you what. It is so helpful with my parents here. Being a first time mom and all. I suffered from ppd and every time my little guy cried I would cry and wouldn't be able to stop and my mom helped so much! Now I don't cry or anything. When my mom knows I need sleep. (By the way I act) she takes the baby and Leta both my boyfriend and I get a few hours of sleep. One night he wasn't even a week old yet and we had to be up at 7:30 for a Saturday appointment and he was up all night  creaming his head off. My mom woke up my dad. Who is only my step dad and he came right down immediately  and helped calm down the baby and then even fed him. My parents told me to go.to bed and they'd care for him so i could get some sleep before his doctors appointment. I do get frustrated sometimes and it helps with my mom. Honestly being a parent really depends on your maturity level. And bashing on a 15 year old. Grow up. I know a girl who was 15 when she got pregnant and she just graduated high school and is an AMAZING mom has a job and just got her first apartment.  I also know a lady who is like 25 and is a worthless mom doesn't work and doesn't support her own children and they actually got taken BC of heroin and are now adopted to a nice family. So honestly it all depends on how much you love your child and how much patience you have. Having your parents there does help. That's  from experience. But congratulations! Never let yourself think your a bad mom when your baby won't stop crying. Take a deep breath and remember that's his or hers only way of communicating with you. Good luck hun!(:

Ill be 20 in january, and I know the feeling I haven't told my parents, but when I found out I was pregnant I was scared but, everything happens for a reason, this your decision no one elses, you can do it, your baby should be your motivation. Anyone can do it! I know I can.

At 15 you can't get a job and honestly why should your parents be responsible for having to take care of your child. They didn't tell you to go have sex and I'm sure at 15 you knew there was a chance you could have gotten pregnant your parents were not there with you when you decided to make an adult decision. I just hope that you will be able to find a job and find some way to support the baby.

Noone said its ok to get pregnant at 15..nd yes even thou she's just 15 nd pregnant..no one shouldnt be judged cuz no one is perfect...nd its nt jus about the age bt the level of maturity...im sure half of urlbsoon to be mommas will do wat it takes to provide n care for url child nd not jus depend on url parents...right? So dont worry with the judging md the bashing guys...do wat it takes to mke that child happy no matter hw old you are.....however @ericahuriwaixx for some 18 might be to young for others its not to young ...u will get criticism nd will be bashed ...however if ure gonna keep this child..be a proud mom...if u nd ur guy can apply for jobs that will be great..its nt a bed or roses hwever u guys do the very best url can to provide dor url soon to be family... Im Soon to be twenty and im 9 weeks nd Four days....

I honestly think 15 is too young to be having a baby for the girl who said she is 15 just because you can get pregnant doesn't mean you should be pregnant especially at 15.

First of all,Congrats on your baby:) secondly,18 is not too young.age doesnt matter honey but maturity does. Im happy that you actually decide to keep your baby but know you'll have to be extra responsible because you have another person to take care of. You can ask for help and advices from your parents but you have to understand the difference between asking for help from parents and getting your parents to take care of you AND your baby. Like one of the moms said above about relying on your parents about everything,i do agree with it. You'll have to work harder for both your futures now because this is your decision. About your bf,you can try talk to him and discuss about what kind of path both of you are deciding to take. Anyways, good luck with this and congrats once again..

Im 20 and have been living with my partner 2 years now .. he has a 2 year old and im 11 weeks  pregnant with my first.. its defintly not easy being so young with so much responsibilty but in my case im a lot mature than alot of people my age .. we both work and everything for this baby will be bought by us although my mother has offered half the money for the buggy as a gift but thats different .. for me I alredi feel like a mom with my partners 2 year old and there are days where I struggle but then theres days where I wouldnt change a thing .. with ur own child its completly diffeeent .. I think ur boyfriend needs to step up now and get a job but dont be afraid to ask for help off ur family thats what there for .. babies dont come cheap but all u can do is the best u possibly can and dont let anyone judge u ..I wish u the very best of luck

Definitely not. Both my husband(then fiance) and I were just 18 when we got pregnant with our first. He was sooo nervous and scared. All they can think of is, "how can I provide for my family" at the time they find out/throughout pregnancy. Just talk with him, have understanding for each other. My husband and I are now 23 and due in Feb with our third, and we've been doing great, yous can too! =]

I was 1 6 when I found out I was pregnant and now I'm 17 and she's 3 months. I have 2 jobs and I'm still in high school. I personally was never interested in the partying and hanging out life so that wasn't a problem for me. It does get hard sometimes but you do what you have to have a better life for you and your child. I may be young but I'm taking care of daughter. So when you're able to support the child and be responsible then you're old enough in my opinion.

I'm 18 and now 32 weeks, I found out I was pregnant a week before I graduated and got a job a week before I found out. I ended up losing my job cuz of being pregnant but I still don't regret it, this is my first baby and I had to deal with family saying they were dissapointed cuz they had high hopes for me blah blah . 18 is not too young at all, even if you don't have good support you can do it, support just makes it easier.

I seriously JUST turned 18 a week ago and I'm 21 weeks soo yeah. It's definitely NOT easy trying to become accustomed to being a young mom. You literally are giving up the rest of being young and reckless. It's very hard buuut when you feel the movements and see her/him it makes you want to live up to it and do your best. It's extremely stressful though and you will be very emotional there is no stopping it. It starts to become worth it. (For me at least) and if you can't seem to deal with it there are lots of families that can't have kids. I hate bringing that up because everytime (before I made up my mind) I hated it and idk. GOODLUCK!

Just clarifying, I'm not saying its bad to have help from your parents. However it is selfish to depend and rely on them. Let's say, to buy your crib, diapers, clothes, etc. Just be realistic. You know you and your boyfriend are going to need to apply for full time jobs if you don't already have one. Part time jobs won't cut it, trust me. And just know that applying for jobs is half the battle. Then there's the waiting period hoping someone calls you for an interview for a chance to even be hired.
Being a parent young isn't easy. Hell, I would know. I'm 17 and almost 37 weeks pregnant. When I found out I was pregnant I transfered to a college to take my highschool classes. I ended up graduating early with my CNA. My boyfriend is currently working a full time job. We have our own apartment, everything we own has been bought ourselves. We pay our own bills, everything. Mind you it's hard. It will never be easy. Having a baby young just motivates you to do the best you can.
