contractions??

I'm 33 weeks and I have been having sharp pains in my stomach. Now the sharp pain has moved lower down. This is my first pregnancy so I'm not sure what contractions feel like. Can someone please help me?

They do come and go but not to where I can time them. It's been on and off all day. But definitely not too close together. I will keep an eye out for the pain. But I will definitely let my Dr know when I see him on Thursday

I was told if they are 4 minutes apart for more then an hour to go to Labor and Delivery.. I was having small contractions the other day 4 minutes apart and called the dr and they told me to go right in.. Im a little early so Labor and delivery stopped them. They checked me and couldnt find my cervix

When I was having them I could feel the bottom of my stomach getting tight and crampy every 4 minutes. If you cant time the pains yet then just keep an eye on them if they get closer together call your dr

If they are sharp pains you might javelin pulled something.  Nothing time worry about just painful for you.  I did that at 39 weeks with my last.  If if doesn't come and go then they aren't contractions.  But I was in so much pain from pulling something I cried, lol but it was just my hormones and me feeling sorry for myself cuz I never cried during labour and that wad way worse lol.

So far they are not painful yet. Just very uncomfortable. I have a Dr appointment on Thursday so I will let him know. Thank you for all of the replies. I'm just getting a little nervous getting closer and closer to my due date. I can't wait to meet my little girl :)

Yeah that's what it sounds like, if they're timeable or noticeable in coming and going, or getting painful, I would mention it to your doctor

Mine are feeling like cramps too. But right now they aren't too bad. Just uncomfortable. But it does start then stop and start again. I'm thinking BH contractions?

Are they coming and going? Is it tolerable or not? My contractions felt like a period cramp that wrapped around my back. It honestly felt like I had to have a bowel movement and couldn't. If they continue either way I'd get it checked and see what's causing them.
