cough medicine

Okay ladies this cough is killing me I have tried to tough it out but my throat hurts so bad, what kind of cough medicine can I take? Also what are some good tea's that can help with my throat?

when i had a horrible cough and sore throat my doctor said robitussun was perfectly fine to take. and it really helped me. lol but see what your dr says. :)

Thank you :) with my first I made it all winter w/o getting sick so I never researched what kind of med to take,I'm waiting on a call from my ob's  nurse but it's taking forever

All I know is that you can take Tylenol and that didn't help me with my cough at all. I didn't try tea but I was drinking cold water which apparently irritated my throat more so if you're doing that switch over to lukewarm water! Good luck mama
