Just make sure they know your preggers. I had to have a note from my OBGYN saying what could be done.... I actually had to have a crown placed at 24 weeks and a root canal at 32 weeks. Make sure they cover your tummy when they do x rays. My best advice is to call your obgyn and see what he says.... Good Luck

ive had intensive dentistry done this pregnancy, 4 teeth pulled fillings and drillings and all those good things! just let them know your prego andf they wont use the big ex ray machine but the bite xray one, and youll get a baby safe pain reliever! alot of pregnant women need dentists because there teeth can deteroriate pretty badly from lack of calcium and hormones... i had good teeth till my son was born and then they went to hell! but its perfectkly safe, espiecilly after the first trimester=) i have a dentist appointment on the 28th of this month and im due the 18th of sept! no worries!@

I have had 2 cavities filled while preggo.. Just make sure your dentist knows.. They will usually only use a certain novacaine when necessary. I had them both done in my first trimester.. Xrays and all...I couldn't wait (b/c of the shape of the teeth) Which is odd b/c I have had VERY few cavities in my 30 years.. Uggh..  Good luck!

You can go to the dentist just make sure they know you are pregnant. I've had lots of dental work while I've been pregnant, I've even had 2 teeth pulled... They can do X-rays as long as you aren't in your first trimester.
