could this be another miscarriage?

Hi i had a missed miscarriage in december of 2010 there was no heart beat at 6 weeks and when i went back at 8 weeks the baby still had no heart beat so i went back at week 12 and the baby had stoped developing i had a dnc that same week after having blood work show th miscarriage.  I am now 10 weeks and there is still no heartbeat i have no signs of miscarriage and the baby is measuring the amount of weeks i am.  Should i be worried?

I'm very sorry, this doesn't sound like a viable pregnancy. With as far as you are a heartbeat should definitely be seen. Hope is a good thing to have, but don't be obsessed with it. If this child has died and it stays in your body too long you put your fertility at risk. There's only so long it can remain in your body until infection sets in.

i started bleeding on sunday night but i just spotted and i havnt bled since i went to my ultrasound and there was still no heartbeat. They said that the baby was accualy smaller that the last ultrasound. Im confused but i still have hope. hope is the last thing you give up. : (

I have an appointment on monday at an imaging center to see if it was just that the dr. mini u/s machine did not work correctly.  I will keep my situation updated.

Im sorry abt ur miscarriage I truly can sympathize..i too had a m/c in 2009 where i was abt 9/10wks and they never say a fetus only the sac i went bak everyweek for 2 wks for an u/s still no baby..however i was getting frustrated bc the doctor told me upfront i wud most likey hav a mc but there was still a chance.i ended up miscarryn over the wkend resulted in a dnc..in may2011 i found out i was pregnant again went in for my first app. & everything was looking good..per the exam i was mesuring 13 wks and behold when my ob turned on the u/s screen i knew sumthing was wrong he informed me it was another mc he cudnt hear heartbeat and looks like the fetus stopped @ 6wks. he sent me to ER to confirm his finding and in jun2011 i had a DnC..my problem is its in late july i started having morning sickness again and sore breast vomiting all the pregnancy signs not to mention no period yet... i test positive thru blood test for pregnancy but doctor think its lrft over hormones..im curious as to what your outcome is..it does sound like another m/c but the ? i have is will this continue to happen if we ever become pregnant again..PLEASE KEEP ME POSTED

if there is no heart beat at 10 weeks the pregnancy would not be viable sorry

I'm sorry ur going thru such a rough time I know first hand how this feels. unfortunately this sounds like a "blighted ovum" case but in many cases machines don't pick up the heart beat until week 12. I suggest u get ur HCG tested every 48 hrs and go for another u/s a week from the last one uv had. there's no use of carrying an empty sac for many weeks. hope u get good news soon
