Darkness around the neck area may be a sign of diabetes. Does anyone in your family have it as well?

I'm native american and we get really dark raccoon masks around our eyes and over our cheeks and noses. Some women get splotchy skin and others get it in just one spot. It is perfectly normal.

Just a heads up for yours and your baby's safety. I'd ask your doctor if you can get tested for diabetes, but I believe at 28 weeks, or so, they'll test you anyways. The sooner the better though. Hopefully it's just skin discoloration due to your pregnancy. Good luck!
