deli meat, food poisoning :(

This may be gross but I have the stomach bug and all I did for two days was throw up and have the runs, and it's still going on. I was thinking maybe I got food poisoning when I are deli meat. I shoulda listened to my doc when she said not to eat it

If it is recently cooked.  The idea is that it gets cooked and sliced and then sits in the case a long time, where it can pick up the listeria virus.  But if you take cold cuts home and then heat them thoroughly, they're fine.

They say you're only supposed to eat deli meat if its cooked so you dont chance getting listeria.

Are u not supposed to eat deli meat? :/ I ate a deli sandwich last week :(

Call your doc and explain what happened.  If it was from deli meat for sure, it could be listeria, and that can have consequences for the baby.  So please ask the doctor if there is any kind of test that can be done to rule out listeria.
