dental work???!!

Question

Have any mom's went to the dentist while pregnant??  I accidentally broke one of my back teeth on my metal tongue ring.. I've had it at least a year now but it has never bothered me until now.  I took a tylenol about 2 days ago (b/c i got a flu shot and tdap shot n was feeling bad)and the next morning my gums under my tooth had swollen so bad they broke through the broken tooth.. I can barely eat and trying to fully shut my mouth (teeth to teeth ) it hurts. My question is do you think it'll be a waste of time going to the dentist now or should I wait until I deliver?  I'm 32 weeks by the way

I had an infected wisdom that was making me misabrel... 
Went to the dentist and they did X-ray and a local and had to drill the tooth out right then!! 
I was 17w then

I had a cavity filled with a local anesthetic at 18wks. My ob told me to get it done.

I have a filling I need so they are watching the toothfor now and may fill it if needed preferably without doing an X ray but they will do both only if absolutely needed. It sounds like you definitely need care sooner than later but try clove oil for the pain it had always been life saber for me especially when waiting for a root canal or extraction.

I have braces so I go to the dentist once a month...it's safe to go, just make sure you tell them you are pregnant. And if your worried let your obgyn know you are going to go, and they will let you know if you should go or not. I'm sure they will tell you it's safe.

When I was in my first trimester I went I had my teeth cleaned and I have a chipped tooth in the back and its been bothering me and I told her but they wouldnt do anything because they wouldnt x-ray me so j have to wait till december to go back and get it fixxed :/

Well i went to da dentist bcuz i was in pain  nd they dis xrays they told me i have a tooth inside my upper gum nd they cant do anything bcuz im pregnant ..so ima go when i have my baby in a week..

If you go I would go soon since your so far along.some dentists wont do anything after so many weeks.but when I was 26 weeks I had feelings and had a tooth cut out.they will just ask permission from your doctor to get xrays. Thats what mine did anyways.

I went I also have the same problem they did an xray in my mouth then told me I have to go to a specialist because my tooth was to damaged for them to do anything with. I haven't been able to go because my insurance doesn't cover the procedure an its a very expensive procedure.
