Okay today I had my 2nd dr appt. And we got to talking about the pros and cons of the flu shot. She said that it is good to get the shot bc it prevents you from getting sick, but it may cause baby to have autism as well. So I told her I was not getting the shot, so she advised for me to stay away from people who were sick and when outside to be well covered even my nose.

Has anyone else heard of this before??

I didnt with my son, and i never got sick with him and he was fine, i wont with this one either.

I had my doctors appointment today and she gave me the flu shot because she said if I did get sick it can have serious affects on the baby

Its a bunch of bs. My son has autism and has never had a flu shot or any of the other shots that "cause"  autism.

I got the flu shot and then i was extremely sick for 3 weeks so i deff will never get it again

That is bizarre that a doctor shared that information with you.. as that study was proven to be published on falsified case studies/documents.

I didn't get the flu shot with my first, and he has pddnos (a form of autism). So it didn't matter that i didn't get the shot. I honestly think that if your child is meant to be autistic then it'll happen no matter what. I did everything i could and avoided every possible risk, but oh well. I love him with all my heart =)

Yea it is interesting. I do agree the flu shot is a little iffy. I no someone who is paralyzed from getting the flu shot. Usualy  wouldn't get it but because I'm pregnant I did

There are plenty of people who have gotten the shot who's babies don't have autism and there are plenty of people who don't get it and their babies do have autism.  From my own research there is no hard evidence it does. Most doctors recommend you get it but it's your own personal choice :)
