Is it bad that I want to hold my cravings and not eat certain foods because I know they will put in a little extra weight after the baby. I try my best to only eat the needed food and stay away from donuts and chips and sodas etc.

No it's great! Trust me I am 39+2 and I have only gained 17 pounds and my doctor said most of that will come off after baby is born so I'm definitely happy I chose I restrain myself it's a great choice! My sister gained 75 pounds with her first pregnancy and it scared the crap out of me lol

No. Honestly that stuff isnt healthy for the baby anyway. Its alright to eat healthy, just make sure your eating enough. Lucky for me my cravings are fruits and veggies.
