dilated 3cm!
just left the Dr, i'm 36 weeks & dilated almost 4cm! does that mean he'll be here sooon!? :)
When I was 3-4 they told me I was having the baby that day, but I was definitely in labor.
I was 4 cmm for 3 weeks with my daughter! So like every said u could stay like that for weeks or go into labor in hrs...every women n their pregnancy are different...so what happens to other women might not be the same for u... Good luck and congrats!

I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and I hope I'm at least dilated 2cm when I go to my appt in the morning and not because that's a sign labor is near but because I won't have far to go when I'm actually in labor to get an epidural. Silly thinking I know but the pain scares me. The end is near and we will soon meet our sons but it's only when they will be ready which is fine with me even though I'm miserable
It varies, alot of women can be stuck at a few cms for weeks and end up being overdue / induced, but it can also happen that you'll go into labour soon. I had gestational diabetes my last pregnancy. They induced me cos they said she'd probably be big.. she was only 6lb 6!! so please don't worry tooo much about size of baby. Relax and your baby will be here soon.. you'll ideally want to have a few more weeks for your baby to develop more, lungs etc aren't mature yet. And if you have a baby early, the higher risk of them needing to stay in hospital for a little while. Make the most of sleep these last few weeks :) and good luck! I wish you all the best.
awww "/ lol well i went from 1cm to almost 4 in a week. so hopefully he decides to come soon! plus i have diabetes & hes like a lb over what he's supposed to be.
Not to sound negative but I was stuck at a 3 for 3 weeks and still had to induced. It's all up to your baby and how soon the little one wants to arrive. Cuz I tried everything and he didn't come out til he was forced lol
It could be...but I've also read that you could be stuck there for weeks...so it could go either way!! That's really good though...a great head start :)....I hope when I start getting checked I have that much success....hopefully you meet your bub soon
