do they give you any type of vaginal numbing spray?

After birth, do they give you any type of numbing cream,foam or spray after delivery, I'm scared of peeing and having it burn like hell I'm a first time mom, I've heard so many things about pregnancy, labor and birth but what happens after birth? How do you take care of yourself down there, what can you expect after

Omg! They have numbing spray for tattoos!? I have 12 and have never heard of that. For real. I would have killed for that. But yes, they should give you a sitz bath, cream and a peri bottle. If they don't give you a sitz bath then all you need to do is run water as hot as you can stand it in the tub and sit in it. I always did this with the shower drumming to ease back pain.

Dermaplast spray and witch hazel tucks. Life savers. But a little tip when you do go to the bathroom spread your legs like a man would sit and learn forward almost like you're trying to touch the floor. Sounds crazy but it makes it go straight down instead of running into your cuts more. This will be my third and my mom told me that trick with my first after the first couple times when it burnt so bad I was about to cry just to pee

With my daughter they didn't give me a numbing spray or anything, but they gave me a peri bottle to put warm water in for when I would pee. I would spray it down there while going and it would help. They did however give me these wipe type things to put on my butt to help get rid of the hemroids I got from pushing. Those helped wonders!

I was also given a sitz bath that i sat in 3x a day and a squirt bottle to spray myself with while i peed.

Yes it's a cream they give you. It works well :)

I heard they give you something. If they use numbing spray for a tattoo I'm pretty sure they will give you something for birth lol.

My friend had a foam that the hospital gave her for pain down there, as well as hydrocodone.
