Ive never heard its ok to drink beer. But small glasses of red wine occasionally are ok. I still dont however just bc I feel its necessary. Now holidays breastfeeding or pregnant thankgiving and Christmas I have 1 3 oz glass of wine. Which my mil condones and says is fine and I didnt pump and dump for 3 oz. Not enough to hurt anything. And a lot of ppl midwives etc will tell you that a small amount of wine will also help with let down. And milk.production. though you may not feel effects its still enough to help and safe. My mil is a midwife btw.

Wine is stronger than beer. But one small cup is okay only if you want to.

Im 33 wks and just had a 3oz glass of red wine. I wouldnt dare do beer or anything else. Drinkin while breastfeeding is the same. Ur going to pass it to the baby via breastmilk. I read online if u chose to have a drink pump and dump for 24 hrs b4 breastfeeding again

If u drink while breast feeding, pump the first batch of milk and dump it because it drinking affects your milk, but yes its safe to drink wine,
