drugs worry

My sister just found out she is about 2 months pregnant and she hadnt realised now she is worried that she has harmed her baby as she had taken drugs and was smoking and drinking alot. Does anybody know the chances of her baby not being harmed by these 2 months i think the drugs were a 1 off ocurence acording to her. I would like to reassure her everything will be fine but am struggling to believe it myself.

I was doing drugs/drinking and didn't realize I was pregnant either, almost every weekend I was at a party. Then I found out I was nearly 3 months.. But I'm not 20 weeks and my baby is very healthy and everything is right on track. But just to be on the safe side I'd go get some tests done.

Do you know what she was taking ? With my first pregnancy I didn't know until 2 months, I was drinking heavily (I'm an alcoholic), taking adderal,  and smoking weed & cigarettes.  I stopped as soon as I found out I was pregnant.  I gave birth to an almost 10lb healthy baby girl who is almost 3 and has 0 problems.  More than likely her baby will be fine but if any drugs show up in her meconium that is not a good situation.

Na I wouldnt think so not if it a once of my friend went out drinking and she didnt know she was pregnant and my other friend smoking weed and found out she was pregnant she was 19 weeks preg and they both had healthy big babies

If she was taking benzos it could show up in the babies meconium and CPS will be involved

Thanks she told me the drugs were a 1 time thing about a month ago so doubt they would still be in her system. Just wish she had been more sensible

She is gnna hve to get blood tested to see if its ok bt if se drugs in here system now i would tell her to wait until it clears because cps will b called if they find drugs while she is pregnant
