When I told my parents I was pregnant they blocked me off social media. My father said I was dead to him & my mom would constantly call me to insult me calling me names for opening my legs. I'm now 27weeks+4, my mom still called me yesterday to tell me more crap & my entire family still has their backs turned on me. The only one who is slowly coming around is my father he seems so happy about my pregnancy although everyone else acts like I don't exist.
*ooops* I'm now 8 months and everyone is happy and excited. Stick to ppl who support you and you will be done. It's your baby! And your choice on what you want to do
Congrats on your wedding and the baby. Being pregnant is a shocker but your family will come around. It takes time. I would go to the doctors soon to make sure that the baby is healthy and that you are doin well too. Everything happens for a reason. Just take things day by day.
My best friend went with me to my first doctors visit and I told my mom I was pregnant a few days after. She wasn't thrilled but she came around after a few days. It takes time. My bf took about 5 weeks or so to accept it fully and now I'm 8 months and everytick to ppl who can support you.
I just cut people off who stress me out. It's not healthy to be around toxic people. I've tried to have a normal relationship with my mother but it hasn't been possible
Just let it go. They'll come around eventually and you don't need the stress right now.
I have a very unsupportive family my parents don't know I'm preg I haven't told them bcuz even they they were great parents to us they think my or my sisters having kids is a way of ruining our lives I just ignore the comments and talk to my fiancé when I need to
Honestly people will always be rude and judgemental over things they don't want. All you can do is keep a smile on that face and think about being a mom.
