I'm due on the 27th of this month and plan to breast feed. I also plan on pumping, just wondering if the brand of bottles matter? Which ones are good/not good to use??

I researched breast pumps and bottles.....Avent got the best reviews plus you can use any Avent bottle with the pump. I am due May 24 so I hope they work out for me.

Also, a friend of mine had her son about 8 months ago and had a lot of trouble with him taking the bottles she had originally bought because of the pacifier he took in the hospital. She recommended that I take the same brand of pacifiers as bottles for the baby to have in the hospital. Hope this helps!

I used playtex nurser dropins with my first two and already bought more thos time.  My kids did great with bottle or breast.  Just make sure it is a wide based nipple and you should be fine.

My sister is a feeding specialist for children under 6 and she always recommends the avent ones.  So thats what we are planning on using.

I used the avent breast pump and bottles,,,those worked really well for me.

From what I've heard/read the breast flow bottles are amazing is you plan to breast feed, then bottle feed too. They're ones that are most 'breast' like!

I bought these bottles by First Years called Breastflow haven't had the chance to use them yet since they are newer. With my first son I used Dr. Browns bottles and Soothie First Years and those worked out great. Hope that helps.
