dying hair

Is it bad to dye your hair . I'm 6 wks +3 days.  
My mother said its okay to do it now she said that later on during the pregnancy it'll be bad

I just got foils the other day im fine recommened time is the second trimester and if you can save yourself from an all over do and just get foils/streaks that is much better less contact of chemicals to the scalp! ohh and definatly a ventilated room. dont over dye your hair so instead of opting for a box try get it done at the salon!! salon grade dyes are wayyy better! make sure you tell them your pregnant aswell!! ooooh and dye your hair at your own risk hormones can affect the colour of your hair! it really sux! so be prepared!

I got my hair done during first trimester and everything is fine. Yes it is OK to dye your hair

Doctors say use ammonia free and do it in a well ventilated area if u do it in first trimester there are studies on this and dying your hair during first trimester snt proven to harm baby

I heard u should wait until ur out of ur first trimester cause the chemicals or whatever. Most birth defects are formed in the beginning and its just a crucial time for ur developing baby anyway(:

My cousin is a beautician.  She was dyeing hair throughout her pregnancy everyday. Her son is 18 months old and perfect. My doctor says its safe to dye your hair. If it wasn't,  people that do hair for a living that are pregnant,  would have to quit their jobs. It's safe. You're fine. I personally chose not to dye my hair in the first trimester,  but it is safe to do so.

I've read that dying your hair is fine once you've reached the second trimester, since everything is really delicate in the first trimester and you have to be extra careful. :)

Its perfectly fine as long as you're in a well ventilated either.

Wait until your second trimester 12+weeks, i'm not sure on the reasons but it's not good for the baby before then

I don't think it's bad. There are some people who think it'll harm the baby but I don't think there's anyway that can happen by dying your hair
