early babies genetic ?

So i'm 37wks today and i am finally starting to freak out about the labour and birth coming soon...some people have been telling me because of family being early that my baby will be too? I myself was 3wks early, my mum was 8wks early, my boyfriend was 7wks early, his mum was 10wks early...is there even any truth to it?

It was that way for my family. My mom was born in the 27th week. I was born in the 29th week. My sister was born in the 33rd week and my brother was born in the 36th week. My son was born in the 35th week and my nephew was born in the 36th. I know they say genetics doesn't play a roll but my family does not carry full term. Im almost 19weeks with my second and Im hoping and praying i make it to at least 37weeks this time.

I've been seeing a genetic doctor because of some complications. From my family history of my sisters mom and grandma deliveries & my problems she said I have a 90º/○ of delivering early. So you could. ..

Idk. I was 3 weeks late and now I'm about to be induced at 42 weeks. But every other baby in my family has been early

I don't believe it, but anything is possible. I was a month early, my siblings were two months early, my dad was a couple weeks early and mom was on her exact date. I'm 38+ 2 so there is still time but I don't think I'll be really early.

No. It all depends on you and baby. Genetics have nothing to do with when baby comes.
