I dont remember getting any methotrexate(but at the hospital i was pretty much out of it) The doctor said they would send the sac thing to the lab to see what it was. I havent gotton any labs results back yet. I still have one sided pain(but its not unbearable) Thank you for all your helps and I will post any new info!
I reread one of your earlier posts. I'm not a dr but I can tell you a few things I am aware of.
Sometimes with an ectopic pregnancy debris is still seen in the uterus so even if what looked like a sac were seen in your uterus an ectopic might still be a possibility based other symptoms. In your case, one sided pain and high HCG levels seem to be of concern - the drs were concerned because sac size shouldn't have resulted in HCG levels that were as high as yours. There are several things that could cause this but ectopic needs to be ruled out and treated aggressively because this can be life threatening.
Were you given any methotrexate? This is used to help dissolve a fetus if its outside the womb.
Do you have the results of your blood work yet? Are you still getting one sided pain?
It sounds like the drs have either ruled out ectopic or feel that it has been treated appropriately since you were discharged.
Not sure if this helped but please keep me posted.
Sounds like a molar pregnancy isn't an option (doesn't really fit with your symptoms but I was curious because in another post you mentioned your HCG levels were really high which can happen with a molar).
they havent said anything about that. ive never even heard that before. I have had one sided pain though the whole time, but everyone keeps saying i wouldnt be able to move cause it would hurt so bad.
It doesn't sound likely that you had an ectopic if the drs saw a sac in your uterus and you haven't had any other symptoms such as severe one sided pain etc. Did the drs mention anything about a molar pregnancy?
I completely understand. Thank you!
People may not reply to a post if they just don't have experience or answers. I personally don't know anything about what you're asking. I wish you much luck!
