I don't remember how big my son was measuring at my 36 week u/s but they told me that my son would be over 10 lbs and so they induced me a week early to help my chances of a natural delivery (or that's what they claimed) I ended up with a c section and he was 7lbs 6 ounces. He just has a big head, still does at 3 1/2 :)
That is very true and healthy babies r all that matters
sounds healthy :) I had a 6.8lb and a 6'.10lb then a 7.9lb Ima lil nervous as well for this child lol I think they will be bigger as long as they are healthy I am happy :)
I've been told our son is young to be big to on my last scan at 31w 6d baby estimated 3.14lb so I would say my son is around 5.6lb but we will see. And they told my sister in law her 2nd boy would be big and he turned out to be 6.8lb. 2oz smaller than their 1st boy.

Sorry I should've included - I opted for a vaginal birth despite the measurements and it was a quick, easy, delivery.
More than a pound in some cases..I was told my entire 3rd trimester by 3 different doctors using 3 different ultrasound machines that my son would be "well over" 10lbs, closer to 12...and they offered me an elective c-section.
He came out at a whopping 7lbs 10oz, a whole 4oz larger than my first child (a girl - 7lbs 6 oz) lol.
SO I wouldn't worry too much...SO much can affect the measurements. For me it was a lot of fluid and a large placenta :-).
I know I have really good births anyway but this is my 3rd now and slightly more nervous don't know y but thanks 4 ur comments ladies
Could be, but remember that ultrasounds can be off by a pound either way. I can't tell you how often doctors have said the female would have a big baby and they came out 7 pounds.
my son was 8lbs 11 oz and they think my little girl will be bigger?? doc said thats normal for it to be bigger then the first! awww congrats :)
I was 34+1 and I am 35 weeks today I'm just getting worried about having a huge baby lol my daughter was not small at 7.5lb but I just think this one will b bigger
At 34 weeks more babies around close to 5 pounds. If you were close to 35 weeks the average is about 5.6 pounds.
