exercise after birth

How soon did everyone start exercising after giving birth. I'm 2 weeks pp and have been dropping the weight quickly but really want to start exercising again to help tighten my belly...is it too soon to start even basic ab workouts?

My sister in law told me the best bet is start at 4 to 6 weeks. Although you may feel good the inside is still healing.

I'm pretty sure it's 6weeks . You should ask your obgyn when you go back for your checkup :)
