false bfp's and hcg
For those who are getting fasle positive I thought this was interesting---came with my insturctions with opk i finally got.
A number of conditions other then pregnancy, including trophoblastic disease and certain non-trophoblastic neoplasms including testicular tumors, prostate cancer, BREAST CANCER, and LUNG CANCER cause elevated hcg. Therefore, the presence of hcg in urine should not be used to diagnose pregnancy unless these contions have been ruled out.

motherofan19month-- I was trying to remember who was getting all the false bfp's. I hope your Dr can take any worries out of your mind and everything is ok and that you get your real bfp soon

yeah...also ovarian cancer can cause high hCG levels so i will be going to doc to rule that and a few other things out on tuesday next week....i am kinda scared to figure out why i keep getting false BFP'S because ENDO, & cancer run in the family!
