So my grandmother asked if she could make my babys baptism gown and i had to tell her we are not getting the baby baptized. She said some hurtful things about the baby would go to hell and all that. My husband and i are wiccan so i don't feel comfortable with the whole situation my mom told me to let grandma cool off :( christmas this year is gonna be hard sorry for the rant i'm just super upset

My best friend in the whole world did that to me. She threw a fit and said she was going to get her baptized behind my back. I didnt even get mad. I just calmly told her 'no youre not, i love you, but that is not gonna happen'. In my opinion babys are as pure as it gets, they dont really NEED baptism to be perfect in gods eyes.

Just raise your baby to be a wonderful, accepting Person. Wicca is a beautiful religion and your child  will be lucky to have parents who teach the kindness of Wicca. My mother was Wicca and although in don't share the same religious believes she taught me the importance of caring for others, nature, and to never do harm if you don't want harm and I'm happy and successful.

I wanna get baptised as a family me hubby and baby cuz none of us have been before but am I gonna judge you? Hell no lol its your baby and you can raise it however you want! It irritates me to the max when family members wanna cry a river cuz you don't wanna do something with YOUR baby the way they want to!

Sorry you're dealing with that. I'm not religious in the slightest and it irritates me when people impose their religion on me or my family... Keep your head up though.  You know what's right for your baby and no one should make you feel bad about that!
