first time pregnant just a question

I'm 5 months today and I just laughed and peed a little lol its happened a couple of times.. I'm just wondering is it a pregnancy thing and will it go away after I have my baby?! thanks :)

Its a Kegel Exercise. You know when you're peeing and you can make it stop? That's using your kegel. If you exercise it regularly, you won't pee when you laugh or sneeze, etc. I'm 21 weeks tomorrow and I've never had a slip up like that cuz my momma always taught me to exercise my kegels lol

Not sure how to explain the exercise if u google it theres loads eh sites tellin u step by step of exercises u should b doin, pelvic floor exercises wil help with labour aswell

It took awhile but I eventually recovered after my first. My second took a little longer but after I had my third I have issues still. Im gonna hate it after this time lol. I know it'll take me forever to recover again...

Ur suppose to do pelvic floor exercises every day to make ur pelvic floor strong so tht doesnt happen

It is a pregnancy thing, yes. Very common as baby is putting pressure on your bladder. I peed a little the other day when I sneezed. It does usually go away after delivery, but not always. My mom and aunt both have this problem still, but they have each had 5 kids. So I think it should for you, did for me after baby #1 was born. :)

Definitely a pregnancy thing, your bladder is being weighed on so the pressure from laughing weakens it :) itll get better after pregnancy  but just to warn you, as you progress in you later trimesters it will be weaker every month, i peed my pants in the middle of down town portland cause i had a coughing attack,didnt even have to pee but the pressure pushed it all out :/ it just happens!
