Try whole wheat crackers (not sure what you are eating) unsalted

I agree with Clysta so far in this pregnancy, the baby and I love pasta.. it is the easiest thing for me to stomach... Chicken is really good but for some reason I always develop a strong aversion to it.... I eat it still but I can usually only stomach a small portion of it at eat meal.. probably not even enough to count as a full serving.. I also find eggs delicious.....  Sometimes I just eat the egg whites...

You can google things called pregnancy diets that can give you a whole meal plan for a whole day for a whole week... its difficult sometimes though because you need to eat a variety of foods eat day (usually in small portions) but it can get expensive.

Remember when it comes to carbs it is all about the whole grains...  There is almost no nutritional value in white bread so its pretty much empty calories

I agree with Clysta. Everything she listed is correct.  As for the crackers, try salt free. And try not to worry about any weight you gain as long as you are eating healthy then the weight shouldnt be a problem after baby is born. good Luck.

It might be easier to list what you should avoid while pregnant. :)

You don't want to eat Raw Meat, Fish high in Mercury---stuff like shark, swordfish, etc---raw eggs, soft cheeses like Brie, Gorgonzola, etc, Alcohol, unwashed fruits and vegetables and of course you want to limit amounts of caffeine to under 300mg a day. Any lunch meats you eat should also be heated up to reduce any risk of Listeria, but I know many who don't bother to do this.

You want to try to get in lots of things like Chicken, Fruits and vegetables, pastas are good (I personally LIVED on Macaroni and Tomatoes when I was pregnant) stuff like that. For now just try to eat decent things, and as your appetite returns you can worry more about making sure it's good stuff. You just don't want to overindulge in nothing but junk food. Also remember you don't truly have to "eat for two". In reality you only need about 500 extra calories a day.
