I had food poisoning at 30 weeks and it was just awful I'd say ten times worse than of I wasn't preg. I got dehydrated and was delirious I was hooked up to a drip and placed in isolation in the maternity hospital for three days and given paracetamol drip to get my temp down. I also have ges diabetes which added further complications and my stomach has not returned to normal since then I still get stomach pains from time to time, my appetites disappeared and I have horrific acid and trapped gas which can get painful I don't think my tummy will get chance to heal properly until my baby Is born in he next few weeks. Until then I have to grin and bare it. I really hope I haven't got food poisoning or at least not to hat severity I would def speak to a doctor if I had any doubts before it would get any worse.

Yes, food poisoning can cause harm to your baby, and it can be a very serious issue that requires antibiotics, so if you think you may have gotten food poisoning make sure you see a doctor! Usually it happens quickly after, and you have diarrhea, vomitting, sharp pains, etc, it could definitely be morning sickness if it's just vomitting. Is there anything you've eaten that concerns you??
