Have you tried a nipple shield yet? Also, hospitals have lactation nurses that you can make an appt with free of charge. They are an excellent resource!
Yeah I'd say try a nipple shield too
yea nipple shield n once baby has pulled ure nipple out a lil switch to nipple n see if hill take it.. Ive known some girls that had inverted nipples but with time their nipples became outies
I had the same problem. I either just massaged it out or used a pump to get it out then fed.
Trying them now thanks ladies
I have inverted nipples I wouldn't switch to plastic just yet because your baby well have a preference to it because it's easier. I made the mistake of giving my daughter a bottle to early and she wouldn't beast feed anymore I had to pump from there. What did work for me though was pumping to pull them out and then feeding her. You could try a nipple shield my sister did that and she inserted a small tube attached to a syringe filled with formula or breast milk.. she would squeeze a small amount of the milk into the shield to encourage the baby to suck. Eventually the baby would suck hard enough to pull it out and she would just take it off for the baby to continue
That's true I had a friend that needed to use a nipple shield at first and the baby wouldn't feed without one for 8 months.
