formula opinions similac vs enfamil

I don't understand why a mother is made to feel guilty for using formula!??? Janemoney, we don't know this woman's experience n why she is using formula, but its no ones place to tell her to breastfeed. She asked which brand other mothers used for a gassy baby.   I have had to use formula because my babies never thrived on my breastmilk. I wasn't producing quality milk. I was made to feel terrible because I had to switch to formula. I was told how awful I was, how I didn't try hard enough, etc! Isn't it better to give formula than starve ur baby? I don't like causing conflict, but I felt I had to speak up this time!       Jlove, I've always used similac n had no problems. :-) best wishes hun!

Enfamil was too roough on my sons belly so we used similac gentle and it worked great

My son started out on similac but it tore his poor little insides up we tried the reg. the sensative and the one for lactose intolerance in the end we ended up using enfamil gentlease the formula is so much softer which I think helps baby to digest

After i nursed for a bit i putmuch son on similac but soon had to switch to enfamil prosobee because he was lactose intolerant and cholicy. The enfamil worked great for him. Good luck.

jlove, we used enfamil and my son never had any problems on it. best of luck finding the formula that works for you.

I just switched my son from Similac Advanced to Enfamil Gentle Ease. Its been one day and so far he's much less fussy.

Breast milk, hands down. If u do the research of what goes into generic formula, u will puke. These cows r hooked up to milking machines, milked all day, they get sores with blood and puss all going into the milk. then its prossessed and chemically treated and it ends up in your baby bottle. I know some women cant produce milk or wahtever, i would try organic brands, at least they r more regulated.
