gestational diabetes

I had blood work Done and my doctor said my blood sugar levels were high I had to do a one hour glucose and my blood sugar levels were still high 164 to be exact. I was told that now I have to do a 3hr glucose. I'm only 5w3d has anyone out there been Thu this or is going thu this. Help I'm really nervous

Yea they told me the same thing.. I had to do the 3 hour test.. u drink the juice thingy and every hour they draw blood.. so I guess I had g. Diabetes so I had to checkx my surgars after I ate 4 times a day..

I cant say I have. But, if it turns out you do have GD, It is early enough to intervene and get you on the proper meds, meaning your baby will be at less risk for complcations as youre dealing with it now. Most women have their first glucose test between 24 and 28 weeks. I hope all works out for you hun!

I had to watch what I ate.. but for me they told me 2 months ago that I didn't have g.diabetes due to me loosing too much weight...

So all u did was lose weight. Did u have to take any meds
