getting induced today
I am extremely terrified of labor I broke down in my doc office today. I'm so afraid I don't think I could do it. I saw a birth video on induction and it scared the **** out of me. I get induced today at 7:30 =/ since i'm 41w+1d wish me luck i'm gonna need it. I hope its quick and doesn't take forever. I still can't believe i'm gonna be a mommy I I looked forward seeing my baby girl but so afraid of the pain.
You bring music to my ears! You are so lucky I started at 8pm I hope this doesn't take too long. My friends mom induction was a total of 18hrs I def don't want that
Four hours from start to finish :) I actually liked getting induced because I don't like surprises and going into the unknown LoL! It seemed easier because everything was paced out and expected. The worst part for me was the IV everything else was a walk in the park!
You'll do great! I just had my first and id do it all again any day! There are no words to describe it.

I was induced with my baby girl 8 weeks ago and it wasn't bad at all! I seriously felt no pain....ever! They gave me my epidural as soon as I started feeling contractions. I only labored for four hours and pushed for 15 minutes. It was my first baby too :) you will do great! Having a baby wasn't anything like I thought it would be. People make it sound way worse and scarier than it actually is. I'd do it all over again today if I had to!
Thanks ladies i'm here and i'm so nervous I hope this goes well. I already told them I want the epidural they said as soon as I get contractions they will give it to me. I don't think I ever wanna have sex again lol
Our bodies are made to do amazing things! As painful as it is its only temporary. Soon youll be holding your beautiful baby! And ps.. Epidurals are amazing!!! Haha. Good luck mama
oh my you sound so much like me... but.... u will do it, and amaze yourself, go with your body not against it and very soon it will be over and you will have your bundle. good luck hun... x
Good luck!! Just remember u can always get an epidural. I just had my baby Sunday and when I got the epidural I was seriously in love!!! I felt amazing! No joke hah. Hope everything goes well 4 u and baby (:
Good luck hun! Try to relax, stay calm and just breathe through it. Just focus on one contraction at a time and try not to think too far in advance, take it as it comes one second at a time! Xoxo
