I have gestational diabetes and for the most part it's all about what you eat and if it isnt too bad you can control it with a special diet. I guess it can be kinda annoying testing my blood and a strict diet but it's not terrible

I am diabetic believe me if it is positive please PLEASE do your best to take insulin and test or the baby could come out with a bigger head then body, my sister had that happen. It goes away slowly after the pregnancy.

You go for a 3 hour test. I had to fast for 12 hours for both tests.  They'll draw your blood 4 times.  If you fail that one,  you'll be diagnosed with gestational diabetes and have to monitor your diet and check your blood multiple times a day.

If u fail the one hour test,then they will schedule u to do three hours test.Just try to not to eat after 12 a.m
