I thought the drink was going to be thick and nasty but it wasn't. I had the fruit punch kind. But I'm 7 minutes into my hour wait and im not feeling so great. Hopefully I can keep it down. My little one is bouncing around already.

I wonder is it the norm that u get that test before the 3 hr one over here or was it cos they scanned me yesterday and straight away sorted out this apt for me for tomorrow.maybe they are almost positive i have it. Well best of luck with your test today.i hope u will be fine.

If I fail this test then ill have to do a 3hour one that sounds like the one your discribing. I didn't have to fast for this one luckily.

I have a gestational diabetes test tomorrow.not sure if thats the same thing as u are having now,i am in ireland so things could be done slightly different. I have to fast tonight,then go to hospital tomorrow.get 3 blood tests one each hour on the hour and drink a lucozade drink. I am 32wks and my baby already weighs 4lb 12oz and ive alot of fluid around it so they said i more than likely have diabetes. Im terrified i wont be able to manage it.

I take mine in 4 weeks and I'm not looking forward to it. Good thing I have it at 8:30 in the morning. Good luck

I had the nasty Orange one both times. It will make you feel cruddy and then crash. I slept for hours afterwards. But it's an important test!
