I took my 1hr glucose test yesterday n today I get called that it came back high. I have to go now n test for 3 hours...my mom is diabetic. I had pcos n my hormones have always been UN balanced..my pregnancy is a miracle..i'm kind of scared had anyone gone through this also....:-(

The same happened to me and it was about 5 other women doing the 3 hour also with me but it was normal it may be from whatever you ate before the test but y should be fine diabetes runs in my family also

Most women get the test done between 24-28 weeks since that's when hormones can effect your sugar processing most. If you are overweight before you got pregnant, had GD with a previous pregnancy, have a long family history of diabeties or are gaining lots really quickly then they do the test earlier. I did the 1hour test at 12 weeks and failed so did the 3hour test a few days later and passed it. I do get to do a 2 hour test around 24-26 weeks to check again since my first 1 hour was so high.

hmm i wonder...
mines been okayy.. besides baby having a cystic hygroma on the back of her neck which finally resolved itself :) so hopefully now things will go smoothly!

Yea that's what they did to me..i'm from NY, my pregnancy has not been easy.it could be why they waited so late to test. Idk

hmm... wen i first found out at 9 weeks i had to drink a really sweet drink nd wait an hour fur them to take blood... they said it was to see about diabetes.. idk if its the same or two different tests?

I'm 28 Weeks +6..yea they u drink a really sweet drink...like flat soda

how many weeks are yu wen yur suppose to take the glucose test?
or is it the one they do right in the begining nd yu have to drink some nasty really sweet drink?
