help-confused on dates
My ultrasound shows that im 16weeks today and when i put my due date into my pregnancy app its saying i concived on the 18th of july witch would only make me 14weeks and im just really confused and wondering if anyone can explain it for me please
its the 2w rule sometimes u can measure 2w under or 2w over. especially at beginning of pregnancy i measured 2w under on mine but now im measureing at the right amount
Your app is right. Gestational age is not calculated from the time of conception. It is calculated from the time your cycle starts(a.k.a. The first day of your period), which is approximately 2 weeks before you ovulate.
