So I just received a bill in the mail of 470 from May about the STD tests they do in the beginning and the culture that they do. But I received the Medicaid card before that and have been going to the same doctors for months with the Medicaid so im confused why im getting billed for this do any of you know possibly why I could be? also I will be calling tomorrow to make sure my card is still valid and everything I just think this is ridiculous that im being charged so much and it says on the sheet that it was denied but wouldn't I have to pay for everything else as well?

I had the same issue. I called the number on the bill and asked why was I getting this when I am on medicaid. They didn't have my card info on file so I had to give them it and they took care of it.

Sti screening should be a covered benefit under women's health.

I received a bill for 370 on Friday for a blood test and I called today and they said they didn't have my card on file or they misplaced it so I just have to give them my card info again then the bill is taken care of.. hopefully that's what happened to you too ..

You should have full Medicaid if not reapply they will cover paat medical bills for the beginning of pregnancy

Same but i have tricare. Idk why all these offices don't know how to put tricare in. Medicaid gave me trouble when i had it too

So I called and they said I only have women's health and they only cover some of it so basically they denied me for the other stuff like Medicaid then

I got a bill for my first ultrasound as well even though I had gone to the dr at least twice before that and never got a bill. It's most likely a mistake maybe your office uses an outside lab that didn't have your insurance info. That was what happened in my case be I go to a different place for my ultrasounds. If you call Medicaid they should clear it up for you.

I've received a few bills. I've had such a hard time with medical and all that but Ijust  brought it into my drs and they mailed it from there with my insurance info. And Ihavent had any problems.

I just got one myself for the blood work, turns out they billed the wrong insurance. Just call and check on it. Probably a mistake.

There should be a number you can call on the bill to get it sorted out
