high risk pregnancy

i just had my first apointment today to confirm pregnancy... i am 6wks and 3days.  the doctor did tell me that i am a high risk pregnancy and that there is a chance of developing placenta previa or placenta accreta b/c of the # of c-sections i've had and how close together they are.  has anyone ever had either of these happen to them???  or does anyone know what the effects of this has on the baby???  i have an ultrasound scheduled in 2 weeks and then another one will be scheduled 3 weeks after that.  but i don't think they would be able to see how the placenta is developing until my ultrasound at 18-20 weeks.  i know i'm probably getting a little ahead of myself here, but i like to be well informed!!!

If it wouldn't have moved I would have had to have a C-Section.

did your doctor happen to tell you what would happen if the placenta hadn't have moved on its own?

Nope he's just fine, went on to deliver vaginally because it moved. It didn't hurt I had bed rest because of the bleeding but it was a lot of blood I kept rushing in thinking that the baby was gone because it would run down my leg (tmi sry). But he was just fine the previa had no effect on him.

I had previa it went away on its own but I had a lot of bleeding all of the time until it did. They will be able to see the placenta sooner than 18 weeks I think I was diagnosed around 3mths.
